alright so i just got a new pair of skis and im looking to get into touring more next season. my dad thinks that i should get some barons but i live in the city and ski 100% park while im here at my tiny local hill. next year i will be touring mostly day trips with maybe one multi. my question is will i destroy the barons on rails etc.? my other option is to get a beefy binding like the fks and just use trekkers. thanks and +k for good answers

p.s.- im a 3+ skier, 5'5'' and 110 lbs if any of that matters

barons WILL NOT hold up on rails, or any other really hard impact such as park riding.

Just use trekker if your are planning on hitting rail/big jumps and landing swicht.

Maybe look into the MFD All Times, although they are going to be a new product next year so there is not a lot of consumer reviews and feedback.

would the barons hold up everywhere else? like on cliffs and such?

After a couple of days trekking on alpine trekkers i would personally avoid them like the plague. They are OK for inclines up to 25 degrees, but anymore than that and you will be twisting out of them and be generally unstable.

barons will hold up on some pretty beefy drops and such and yes DO NOT get trekkers.

ya but i need to have bindings that i can use on rails and jibs so then i can just put trekkers in those
