Help salomon 2012

The Line Afterbang and the Salomon 2012 are totally different skis, the 2012 is 91 mm under foot and has rocker in the tip and the tails compared to the Afterbang which is just a normal cambered ski that is 88mm underfoot and uses a totally different type of construction. Between these two ski I would get the 2012 because it would handle the whole mountain a lot better than the afterbang and looks like a fun progressive ski. I wouldn't get the afterbang because the ski can get waterlogged and the bases are really slow. If these are your only two choices I would get the 2012, but their are a lot of better park skis on the market. Such as the Liberty LTE, Ninthward HHP, Volkl Wall, Armada AR7, Armada Halo, etc. Good luck!

you want more than a 166 when your 5'4? jeeze i have 166 afterbangs and i'm 5'6 and they're still taller than me. i would get something like a 155

166 is a little long in my opinion but I would stick with that at his height over dropping down to the 155 if he does indeed take the afterbangs.

I used to own a pair, 155. But they got wrecked. So im taking some opinoins.

if you like to butter, the 2012's are one of the best for this.
