I'm going to describe this best I can, because I can't find any examples in edits at the moment.
I'm using premiere pro 2 in my digital class. I also have access to after effects, but would rather not go there unless i have to. The effect I'm looking for is how to use something in a shot (i.e a light post) to transition between two shots. I have two clips, one Dollies behind a wall to end the shot, and the other dollies from behind a different wall to start the shot. And i would like to "morph" them together so that it appears to be one slide effect going through a wall. I have tried everything from changing opacity, to different slide transitions and wipes. I cant seem to get it right.
