I'm going to be in England to study for ten weeks starting April 26th. I was hoping to hit up some dryslope or indoor skiing. I'm going to be in Old Harlow, which is about a 40 minute drive from downtown London, I take it. So, is there anywhere near London that is decent and hopefully has a bit of a park? I'm also down to hit urban. The problem is, I won't have my skis as it is cost-prohibitive for me to take them considering the amount of skiing I will be able to do, so I also made need to borrow or find a cheap pair of twintips around 175-185 cm and some boots size 28.5-29. Thanks!
hemel snowcentre is pretty close, milton keynes is kinda near but is truly awful, cas is miles away but probably the best park scene in the uk, they do freestyle on a thurs and fri, definiltey worth checking out at least once (last friday of the month for better park 'parkstrife')
skis and boots, speak to nickyp, check unity-proshop, ski bartlett or freeze proshop
Definitely hit up Hemel. Although boarders outnumber skiers most Fridays we all have fun. Gimmie a shout when you are planning to go to Hemel and, yeah...
hey
yeah i think chatham dry slope does freestyle on thursdays
i know ipswich does its empty and u can choose whatever you want to be set up
sheffield has a full time park with halpipe n shit
ski rossendale has a freestyle arena
chill factory has a full time indoor park real snow i think
but sheffield rossendale and chill factory r north and ipswich is east coast chathams south of london
most hills have freestyle nights on thursdays and fridays.
