They actually won't let you on the lift if you have that much damage to your bases. You should probably just buy some new skis.
For real though, like everyone was saying, if it's bad enough p-tex it. You can usually find it at your local ski shop, comes in a stick. Just to clarify, this is only for core shots. If it's right next to the edge, p-tex isn't going to do anything, it will probably just pop right out. You could go to the shop and have them base weld it, or you could be a cheapass like me and go down to your local hardware store and pick up some JB Weld. It won't hold wax, but it will fill in the core shot and prevent water from getting in there and rotting out your core, as well as providing something to anchor your edge in so it doesn't get ripped out.
