Dirty Subaru Next to a Truck

i remember seeing a picture of a dirt covered impreza parked next to a chromed out, jacked up, clean truck. i can't remember where i saw it but i was wondering if anyone had it or knows where to find it. this may be a shot in the dark.

That avalanche is stupid, it has a body lift so all it does is it allows you to put on larger tires, it doesn't affect clearance at all. Its just for looks, if he took that in a trail he would just roll it really easily or get hung up on some rocks or stumps

uh. no- You can see new suspension on the avalanche.. not just a body lift..
and no shit, thats not a trail rig.. an avalanche is a terrible trail rig to begin with..

You would use that truck to be a fuck yeah, and romp over shit not do a trail, but its just a show car.

I would never build one, and I don't like it
but I would never drive a subaru either, even a sti.

The avalanche does have a suspension lift. Larger tires =more clearance. If you put a 4 Inch body lift on and 4 inch larger tires you are gaining the same amount of clearance as a 2 inch suspension lift with same tires. Obviously suspension lifts are better, but most guys can't afford an 8" suspension lift so they will do a combo of both.

Not everyone lifts a truck because they are doing serious technical off-roading or mudding in their vehicles. There are other legitimate reasons to do it.

that picture is awesome though. If I had either of those vehicles I would definitely keep them both really clean though. I also would go far cooler places in the chevy.

the thing that pisses me off most about sti owners is that fact they dont understand, no matter what rice burning additions they put on their car, or how fast it goes, for the most part its still a fucking subaru. I cant think of any circumstance when a subaru was a respected car among the elite car makers. If im going to drive a sick car its because i can afford to buy one, not make a poser car. Personally, if i was looking at an sti i would take a 3 series with all wheel drive anyday.

The sti and wrx are both awesome cars but cost a fortune to insure and parts can sometimes be costly too, but wrx parts are usually easy to come by because all the rich teenagers who don't know how to drive crash them and you can find parts off those

apples and oranges guy.... when was the last time you saw subaru trying to make a high end over priced luxury car?...u didnt.... when was the last time you saw bmw try to make anything with 300 hp all-wheel drive rally proven corvette killer for 35 grand?. for that matter when was the last time bmw made anything worth buying for even remotely close to the most expensive subaru. good argument though..keep ur smug 3 series and we will keep our tree hugging dirty reliable all-wheel drive snow machines

subaru makes respected rally cars and other cars for certain things such as whatever ken block does...but for the kid who said im smug driving a 3 seriies....ok pal. I think as a whole, subaru drivers are looked down upon on the road compared to a bmw. Smug is driving a prius.

1- ken block is not the reason subaru is a proven rally car
2- if you think rally racing is the only thing a subaru is good for im glad bc you will never have the privilege of experiencing the simplicity and utility of the legacy and forester. they arent trying to make a luxury car!!!! people dont say hey i want a high end, german made luxury car im gonna buy a forester
