Hey guys, i started doing 540's today off like 15 foot ish jumps, and have been rather successful. However, when i land, i always land with a wide stance and i always fist punch the landing when landing switch. Is this a technique error or do i just have to learn to land with a narrower stance and steeze it out?
the reason you're dragging your hand it because your weight is too far forward over your toes. keep your weight centered over your skis, look over your shoulder 'til you come around to 5, spot your landing, and stomp it. make sure you set the spin level. try T-setting it until you have it on lock.
a video would really help to see why you're dragging your hands. just keep your weight centered, feet shoulder width apart, knees bent, and try to absorb the impact rather than having your body fold over. be in an aggressive stance. check out my Spring Edit for a decent 5.
