How to make skis

Hi, I can probably google it but, my best friends dads a carpenter and makes everything for them, he recently started a longboarding company which is doing great, and makes almost everything he can, he's made 3 paddle boards and i dont know how many surfboards, for a year and a half now a few friends and his kids have been hassling him to start to makes skis, understanding this would be an investment because he needs to buy a press, a metal beveler, special plastic ect.
now if he were to make a few pairs of skis or a snowboard is their a good economical way to do so?
please help this will be dope if he starts

Their is A LOT That goes into a pair of skis. When we started out it was banging 1 pair out a day. I mean its a huge task.


But once you get down to it. You'll need a CNC (or can cut cores out by hand) Skies are made by layering differnt sized peices of core over the other. After that you epoxy carbon/fiberglass sheets over it. And attach the base/topsheet/sidewalls. Then PRESS into the shape you want.

Aftwards you'll cut them out grind em up and insert edges.

When you take them out of the press they will look like 1 HUGE SQAURE SKI. You have to cut out both individual skis.

Since you comment so much lately, question for you; I heard you guys are bringing back the production to the US/ make the ski's yourselfs? If correct, what are your plans?

I heard that their plans are to first fuck bitches, then they acquire some sort of currency; probably the USD.

Yes we are!! Bringing it right back to production here in Utah! Prices will stay the same. What do you mean plans? We don't really have any plans right now But if you want to make some for dinner I'd be glad too! ;) Haha

Working on new designs and what not as always. Better higher quality materials will be used. And the change in construction. For now it will say the same

You guys should be more thorough with your product descriptions...

"p-tex plastic bases, wood cores"

Please tell me you don't actually use "p-tex" as a base material?
