Yeah kind of a disappointment. T2i was and is still a great camera, T3i is basically a T2i with a flip screen which has it's advantages to some... Personally I think it might have been cool to see maybe 4fps? But I'm sure that will come with time, whatever sells cameras, right?

I guesssss if people really need a flip out screen for video it would be worth it but if your using it for photography alone/minimal video its a nice waste of money.

I got the t3i a few weeks ago. I love it, the flip out screen is a plus for me for filming on the beach. I mostly film skimboarding, i think it really matters if your gonna use the flip out screen a lot to decide between the t2i and 3i.

hate to say it but this is the 3rd time this thread has been made...

anyways, t3i is meh. solid camera for sure, but disappointing in how similar it is to the T2i.

if you want the flip out screen, just go with the 60d. it may cost a bit more but its a better cam anyways

this, for a couple hundred more bones you get a camera that's wayy better. Or for 200 less you get the same camera minus the flip screen

is there magic lantern for the 60D? if not, i would argue that it's a better camera than the 60D aside from the flip screen

There is, but it's not as quality as the t2i firmware, still in beta I'm pretty sure.

I wouldnt recommend the 60d firmware quite yet, still a lot of kinks to work out, and i dunnno bout you but i definitely cant afford to replace my 60d if this version of magic lantern makes it shit the bed.
