In DC may 12th-15th, what to do?

i'm heading east for my cousin's wedding reception and i'll have a day and a half to roam the city. i'm willing to pretty much try anything. i'd really like to know if there are any lacrosse games in the 14th.

this^. they're pretty fun the first time you go but after that they get kinda dull. if you skate there are some sick spots. georgetown is fun if you like to shop. georgetown u might be playing a lax game too so check their schedule out. if you can get up to baltimore there's always lax shit going on there its like the fucking lax capital of the world. or you can just walk around downtown and get some good grub and shit you really can't get bored there's so many hobos you can chill with too

i live about an hour from dc and there's so much to do, especially if you've never been. The smithsonians are really cool and one of my favorites is the Holocaust museum, really touching. But if you've never been you have to do the washington monument, vietnam memorial wall, and all that. I'm not sure how much time you have to apply for this before hand, but you can apply through one of your state legislature's office to get clearance to tour the whitehouse. Besides all the political stuff, there's good food and clubs too. And baltimore's only about an hour and a halfish from there, so there's definitely alot to see.

Def do the Smithsonian. Air & Space is dope, Natural History Museum is cool. All the monuments.

If your over 21 the Adams Morgan area is where all the bars & restaurants are. Eat some traditional Ethiopian food as there are a lot of those places there. And lots of reggae clubs.

My GF's sister lives there so Ive been there about 10 times in the last 2 1/2 years.

may 12-15th... ill warn you its gonna be hot/humid and gross as shit by then so ur pretty much gonna want to be indoors from 10am-7pm..

-caps playoffs game would be insane!!!.. but tickets are real hard to get
-museums are interesting if you haven't seen them before.
-nationals games are cheap fun and easy to get to
-the C&O canal is a nice place to take a walk/run. (if its not too hot) goes from Cumberland MD to -Georgetown (180 miles).
-georgetown and adams morgan are both cool areas to hang out at night if you can get into bars and clubs.
-plus there are plenty of DOPE food places scattered throughout the dc area that i could go on and on about if you are interested...
-++a lot more....

-hit up ray's hell burger (best burger ever. prez obama agrees). just across the river in rosslyn
-or cava. or cava's fast foody place. dope ass greek food.. the fast food version is like a greek chipotle with pitas.... super dank
-five guys is always dank
-ppl seem to go apeshit for georgetown cupcakes. they are good. but idk something to try i gues...
-2 amys makes a really dope unique pizza.

so yea dc has some dope eateries..

Go to the Newseum. It was probably my favorite museum when I went to DC. Air & Space is pretty neat, too. Anyway, you're probably going to enjoy any museum you visit since they're all world class. If you have time, I would go to a Nationals game. The park is nothing neat, but it's something to do and baseball games are always a blast.

as horrible as this could sound. the holocaust museum is a really good place to visit. its really moving emotionally. its the 1 place you should always go if your in DC. and when i went for 6 days with school in freshman year. i saw EVERYTHING.... pretty much

other cool spots would be the korean memorial, lincoln memorial/jefferson memorial, and the Smithsonian's r awesome

Haha, I don't mean to rain on your parade, but they are doing renovations on the reflecting pool. Its completely drained. I think they are upgrading the irrigation system or something.
