Hi I had to rent a camera for a gig that I did and now Im stuck with sony's stupid consumer avchd. I have .mts files that I need to convert to prores 422, its complicated as fuck, so how do I do this for free and without having a watermark on my clip.
this. I have a pany that films to AVCHD and log and transfer works fine. If you have premiere or Vegas both will open them up; you could clip your shots and then just render it out to one file. Vegas defiantly doesn't have the prores codec but premiere might
you could i guess but AE is not built for that purpose. I can't think of any reason it wouldn't work... They both use the adobe media encoder to export so i suppose it would take the same time. Forgot to mention only CS5 will open avcHD.
