Dawkins admits to there being a higher intelligent design

Misleading thread title is misleading. He didn't admit to anything. Furthermore, his notion for Intelligent Design is radically different then what most people identify with the phrase. His hypothetical Intelligent Design scenario involves a highly advanced alien race that seeded earth with bacteria they had created.

Dawkins says that its possible that aliens could have seeded life here on earth. Stein, being the ignorant fucktard that he is, takes that as Dawkins saying that (paraphrasing) "intelligent design is possible". Clearly the two have different ideas of what intelligent design means. Stein's form of intelligent design is the religious "god put us all here" type... completely different from what Dawkins said...
Also its quite evident Dawkins is forced into putting forth some sort of answer that he is not fully comfortable with. I doubt Dawkins actually thinks aliens seeding life on Earth is the most likely explaination.


Regardless, even if Dawkins came out tomorrow and said "god put us all here and evolution is a lie," that would chnage absolutely nothing.

I wish Dawkins actually published scientific work instead of writing books and novels, so he could get his ass torn apart by the professionals. I wonder what kind of work he has done in the field, oh wait, none. As an evolutionary biologist I wonder how deep he has studied the fossil record, wait. . . he has never published a single work on the subject. Which is why I never take him seriously, just like the rest of the scientific community.

He claims to be an evolutionary biologist, but has never done work within the fossil record and has never done any work with the ecology of populations in the field.

His most solid work was done with wasp nests. He basically figured out that if your a wasp it is a good idea to build a nest.

So all work in a lab is invalid? The vast majority of biological study is taking place in labs, where experts are concentrating their efforts in a single gene in a single species. Macro biology and field sampling is quite rare outside ecology, going out to the field is redundant in most DNA studies.

No, most of it promotes evolution selecting for phenotype changes rather than genotype changes. They disagree on whats driving evolution on the molecular scale, I hardly would consider that 'debunking'.
