Just had a super intense dream.

sorry if this isn't written too well, but I just woke up, and i'm still a little freaked out, so I wanted to type it somewhere...

trekking around in south america, or africa, not too sure. Somewhere in the rain forest. saw someone crossing the river, Asked to follow them. He gave me a kind of sick smile, and obliged. he took me across in a boat. Asked me if I knew about the disco? house?? (i don't remember exactly what he called it, but it was something like that...) when we got across the river we entered an old style brick house. as soon as we did, it filled with water and got entirely submerged. We did not have scuba gear or anything. my vision entered a wild like dream sequence tossing and turning upside down,
water rushing me back and forth, all while unable to breath, creating a fully overwhelming experience where
I had absolutley no sense of time, space, or reason. I felt a mix of pure joy an terror. As time went on, the water got more and more violent, and it all started flashing in a trippy disney sorta scene. I got used to not breathing. It eventually just felt like pressure all over my body. I'm not sure how long I was underwater, but I get the feeling it was
a long time Hours? Days? Just when I thought I couldn't take it anymore, and I started to freak out, I washed up on the shore of the river, gaspinng for air. I felt entirely reborn, like all my perceptions of the world had been torn down, and began anew. Everything in the world looked brighter, and I felt very good. The house was above ground, totally dry. I started to become conscious as we were walking back to the boat, and huge bugs with pisers were
biting my hands and all over my body. I could feel the pain physically, but I could not move. It felt similar to Sleep
paralysis, which I have experienced before, and can get very freaky. finally, I forced myself to wake up because the pain was getting bad and I was freaked out.


Anyway, anyone is welcome to psychoanalyze that.
Has anyone had anything similar? It was such a vivid dream. I basically felt myself drown, but stayed alive, since i was dreaming. Intense.

wow that sounds insane. All my dreams are random and unrelated to anything. I kid you not the last dream I remember I broke into my neighbors garage to steal a pump to pump up my chairs. They weren't even inflatable chairs. made no sense.

yeah man, I hardly ever remember my dreams anymore, but when I do, they have been vivid and crazy. Maybe I need to exercise that part of my brain more, so it doesn't boil.

One of the last ones I remember before this I had a full on "old hag's syndrome" where you basically wake up, with a dark, presence looming above you, but you can't move at all. It wasn't like anything real, but just this dark terrifying energy, and I was paralyzed, until I woke up... Hope this doesn't become a common thing...

Man maybe talk to someone who is educated in that. that sounds pretty gnarly. I had some pretty messed up reoccurring dreams as a kid. Parents trying to kill me and stuff. it was weird.

That is an weird/vivid dream. I had a dream last night about camp bisco, but instead of being outside i was in an indoor arena? Also some guy fed me some LSD and i started tripping in my dream... This is the first time i've ever had a drug related dream, and it was weird as hell.

Is there any significance regarding forests in your life? More specificaly rain forests. Have you been in one? If so, who with? Were rainforests an interest at some point? Any real life connections with boats/water? Any real life connections with old brick houses? Describe the person who led you across the river in more detail if you can. Any traumatic events in your life you feel like sharing? Any waking life epiphanies?

I bet you were actually holding your breathe in real life the entire time you were underwater, thats why you felt pain afterwards and that pressure feeling.

last night i had a dream i was smashing some floating mini factory with another factory. then i had jelly coffee and someone said it was good and i was happy. cool dream bro

No significances that I can really think of. The guy who led me across was the old and grey, but adventurous type.

I'm thinking it was probably just stress induced, because I went to bed incredibly stressed out about starting school again after spring break. Also, I've read bad diet can cause dreams like that, and mine has been pretty bad lately.

the weirdest part was probably the vivid physical symptoms, which i rarely feel in dreams.

To whoever said i was probably holding my breath in real life, I wouldn't be surprised, I think sleep apnea runs in my family...

I had a dream that I killed the whole Odd Future crew by putting them all in a backpack and throwing them into traffic. Yup I know, doesn't make any sense

m on my ipod so disregard bad grammar, lack of paragraph separation-ness, so forth. So this crazy dream. I'm stuck in my bedroom and the phone keeps ringing. I answer on this old alexander graham bell style phone and every time was a group of children on the other end saying in unison "PLEASE MEET RUTH" like they were intruducing me to someone named ruth. then hang up. then there was a knock on my bedroom door. I would go out and see this motherfucking creepy ass slendermanish type guy with flowing blonde hair and big buck teeth wearing red an white striped clothing from head to toe. Hes peeking around the corner and then runs away. I chase him out but he always dissappeared. I go down to the kitchen and see these kids with the phone who were calling me. They are all wearing WNBA jerseys and they say "Look out for HARRY BARRY" Harry barry is the creepy waldo guy. not "hairy" but "harry". I dont know how i know that. then he stabs me with a pitchfork and the dream starts over. But this dream has happened a couple times including last night. I finally caught Harry and turns out he was this total babe from my school and its all a ploy to see if im good enough to date her friend. weird, yes. So I get up and walk into the hall. (awake now) and immediately pass out in the hallway, bang the wall with my head. Ive never fainted or anything before. It was the craziest thing. BUT THE INSANE CRAZY MIND FUCK PART!!!!!! I go to school and am talking to the hot chicks friend while we sit beside each other on the computer. She logs into the computer with a username initials-numbers. ex. jmc6857. hers says "CRS1234" or something. HER MIDDLE NAME IS FUCKING RUTH. i dont even know what to think. anyways. thank you for your time.

Not really my father, just kinda looked like an old hippie with a crazy gleam in his eye, like when you look at someone, and you are like, they have some stories. I didnt't really trust him, but I really wanted to see where he was going..

Also, as soon as we crossed the river, a woman joined us, not like my mother, but someone i felt i could trust. Both of them went in the house with me as well, and when I was starting to freak out, seeing their calm faces calmed me down.

It was kinda that similar experience. Just like total sensory overload. Like trying to get a handle on any single part of it just makes you lose control completely.

I have had acid dreams before, but never this intense, usually just cool colors and stuff, but feeling normal.
