Machine Washing Full Tilt Booter Liners?

Despite the "microorganism killing" treatment that is supposed to prevent smells, my full tilts are getting very stanky. I've used frebreeze many times and basically soaked my liners in it to no avail. Wondering if anyone has machine washed their liners before? I would wash them with cold water and just hang dry them. I don't think that water and soap would make any part of them deteriorate? They are getting smelly and I'm getting desperate. Thanks for the help.

throw them in the freezer overnight, the cold will kill bacteria and they should be fresh in the morn'

but on another note, i did a pond skim and fell and my liners got soaked. i skied with them for the rest of the day, then put them in the dryer multiple times to dry them out when i got home. they still perform the same and there's nothing wrong with em or anything. unless intuition liners are "special," i don't see any harm.

I wouldn't have put them in the dryer unless they were on very low heat since they're heat molded. I'll try the freezer though.

I think the machine wash would be alright if i threw them in on low with some other clothes.

I dry my boots (with a boot dryer) after every day of skiing, really helps to stop them from smelling. I wouldn't suggest machine washing them, maybe hand wash instead. You could also try stuffing them with bounce dryer sheets, that could help a bit.

Mine are nasty. Just let it be.

They've gone through too many hours of brewing in my bag during long train trips and other general abuse. They have the Aegis stuff, but it certainly didn't save them from smelling.

I guess take the footbeds out? Or put them in the sun so the UV kills the smellies?

Just putting them in the freezer. The moisture will evaporate and the cold will kill the bacteria.

i know kids who would clean skate liners in the machine washer/dryer. if you do it put them in the dryer inside of a pillow case. and on low heat.

My Full Tilts stink like ass. They are terrible. I just don't make a habit of smelling my liners.

Just sprinkle some baking soda in them every time you wear them. Shit works wonders

just through mine in the washer with some detergent and baking soda and they're fine. put 'em in there with no there clothes and let them air dry.

This is what it says on Intuition's website for cleaning:

'You can use anti-bacterial soap and water and swish it around in the liners, rinse with cold water and leave out to air dry.
After they are completely dry, you can use an athletic foot powder to help prevent odor.

We’re testing a product called Shutout…that you may consider trying as well.

A customer brought another product to our attention that he says works amazingly to clean Intuition Liners. The product is by Kiwi and is called Kiwi Fresh Force Spray. The sprayer has an inverted design that allows the spray to easily get down into the toe end of the liner. It’s easier than washing and, thus far, seems to not deteriorate the liner in any way.'

Definitely should avoid heat with these liners when cleaning as they are heat moldable especially high heat.
