Hey, I was wondering whether there's a schedule for all the sponsored weeks somewhere out there, or if people just know. I'm going to session 2, it would be great if someone could tell me who's sponsoring it.
oh god, while i was at school my gaper dad was signing me up. 1. he put me as expert, but i can only rodeo 5, backie and front(ie). also, under "what you want to learn/best trick" he put "want to learn: switch, rails and 'whirlybird spins'." rrr but at least im going. will level matter much?
sorry for dub post but doing inverts is usually considered "expert". camp forms are generally put in layman's terms so that they know if you're someone who's just trying to get into park (or even skiing period) or are an experienced rider who is looking for more serious training. don't worry about it.
but i dont feel like i want to be in expert, seems like too much, because i read that expert is like pro level, and thats not where im at. i shit my pants anything over 25' or so, and as my dad mentioned, i always fall on my ass when i go switch.
the level you put really doesnt matter. The camp just uses it for reference. You might be in a group with a couple of more skilled skiers but nothing like pro-shit. Every camper has the oppurtunity to hit every feature no matter the level. Like when I went up, I was in the intermediate level, kids in my group where ok and some where worse. All the levels will session stuff together too. In my session all the campers would session the boxes and rails in the morning then the jump line in the afternoon. I wouldn't worry about it too much, once you get there it wont matter what level they put you in.
yeah I'm slayin session 2 I'm 16 years old and I'm going with 2 bros. were all from northeastern PA. my name is Henry Cornell, my social security number is: hahahha. hmu if you have any questions I was there before last year and ya skill doesnt matter there is different levels of skill in every group and say if you are really really good and you are in the really shitty group theyd probably move you
