Not sure if this has been posted here, but my friend recently told me about the 'rocker conspiracy theory'.
The idea is that ski companies put rockers on skis to slow people down on the slopes and cause less accidents, since a rocker will slow you down on piste.
This, I thought, was a decent idea, considering all U.S. resorts are on private land (I think they are, I could be wrong?)
