what are the pros and cons of lifters on bindings. how do they affect the overall feel of the ski?

a riser is usually on an all-moutain ski. you're higher off the ground so carving is made easier and can be pushed alot more. the downside to that, for freeskiing especially, is that your center of gravity is higher, so you won't be able to land the skis as well. mind you it won't make a huge diff. but you can easily feel it. if you're getting them on a all-mountain ski it's great. but take them off for freestyle. just make sure that you get different screws because the ones that come with a lifted binding and if you decide to just take off the lifter, the screws might go right through the ski.

i have them on my 10s and i think there great, but maybe its just cuz i dont ski just park, but they are very helpful skiing on and in everything

they make it so you can get more edge angle when you turn.

risers are no good for park, I could tell the difference after I removed them instantly...its a better feel

i ride almost all park but occasional pow should i have mine mounted without rizers if so do i just tell the shop not to put the rizers on btw i am 5 10 135 lbs and will be riding 179 fujatives center mounted ?
