Best as in like most tech/durable? Brands like Patagonia and the north face make a very high quality product. unfortunately, they also get very expensive.
and no, trew is not. neither is saga
I have been really impressed with my Saga pants. They are super waterproof and durable. Plus they look dope and the colors are awesome. They are a big step up in quality from a couple years ago. I have had Patagonia, high end Burton, Sessions, and Oakley pants, but these are my all time favorites. No rips, tears, or anything and I really like the waterproof zippers. The breathability is amazing and I have had no issues with the waterproofing, but I do live in the Rockies where it's not that wet.
I love my Oakley intents. Nice and baggy with a tOn of pockets. In the back of your heels they have these snaps to clip your pants so you dont cut them when your walking. Warm but have a bunch of vents for spring days. They also have an adjustable waist with a cool grippy inner waistband. Very pleased with them.
My friend has oakley primed pants and they are insane he dropped them into his pool and they were dry ( dont know how the inside didn't get wet but whatever) but they are 450$ so he only got them because Oakley gave him a 300$ certificate for a dysfunctional product but if you have the bank I'd recommend them
