Hot Doggers vs Classics

I have looked around and I'm pretty sure i dont have a shop near me that sells full tilt boots. I was just wondering what a better boot would be for me? The basic reason for me wanting new boots is to reduce shin bang. If i land back seat in the slightest, even off a rail it can ruin my day. So basically are the doggers worth the extra money over the classics. Also if you know your stuff would you say that there is another boot that would fit my needs better. And if i buy online can i still take them into a shop to get them custom molded? And 26.5 or 27 cm mondo?

Type of Skiing- 80% park but when i get the chance i ski some powder and hit some small Michigan cliffs.

you get shinbang from boots that probably fit too big, not because they aren't fulltilts

I have a 27-27.5 cm foot and i have 26.5 hot doggers. They are definitely tight (still enough room to move my toes), but i don't get any shin bang. Get the smaller size, the intuition liners pack out a TON, like at least a half size. Its also easier to make boots bigger (punch out shells) then it is to make them smaller. So yah, if you can't try them on go for the 26.5's.

And just for the record the size 27 and 27.5 have the exact same shell, there is just a thicker foot bed in the 27. Same for 26 and 26.5, ect.

Oh, and the only difference in performance between hg's and classics is the boot board. HG's have the active boot board which is softer, better for park, absorb's hard landings. The Classics have the rigid boot board which is hard and stiff, better for transferring energy to your skis (IE carving).

If your doing a lot of park get the hot doggers. You could always buy the classics and get active's then sell your rigids. That could end up being cheaper...
