Where do you find the most peace?

I'm sitting here in class on this lovely Thursday morning, contemplating where i find the most peace in my life. I would have to say either in my room, reading a book or anywhere away from the drama and fake people in my city for that matter. My question is, where do you guys really find the most peace? Where do you go to alleviate all that unnecessary stress in your life?

My Grandfathers green chair. It the ugliest damn green on earth and it was like $800, but its a recliner and its mine now. I have a very very fond memory of my grandfather in that chair not very long before he passed away so it means a whole lot to me. That chair is the most relaxing thing I have ever and will ever sit in.

I think the car ride up to ski is the most relaxing. I have a 2 hour drive to summit county so i just sit back, listen to music and just fucking chill.

Perfect weather today, isn't it?

My best moments are hiking in the Eastern Sierras just after the summer crowds are gone, where it's scorching in the Owens Valley, with still and calm weather up in the high country, not a soul around, minimalist scenery of granite, lakes, and sky.

Or wandering alone late at night in a 1000-year old old town somewhere in Europe.

Or catching the last chair up, and standing at the top of the mountain for just a bit too long, before heading back down.
