Boot question (not about sizing)

so i hate the fact that my boots don't lean me forward enough for my liking. i feel like im standing straight up instead of having my legs bent forward.

just wondering if there is any way to alter the boots to increase the forward lean/cant. good ideas +k

what boots do you have? That could be a start. With some boots, or at least Full tilt's, they have a forward lean adjustment. You can either put a little black think in the heel, a big one, or none at all (I know that's not too descriptive, but I'm tired)

Try putting a heel lift under your footbed, it will angle you further forward, also you could put some foam on the cuff at the back (around the calf) therefore put more pressure on the front of your boots...

A heel lift can alter the fit of your boot, so be careful with this suggestion.

i put some cardboard around the back of the calf of the boot, seems to work so far

and ive got dalbello aerro 57's size 29

thanks for all the help cant wait to try it on the mountain!

Depends on what boot. My Dalbellos have a plastic shim (lol) that you can put in and out in between the joint thing of the boot to adjust forward lean.

soften the boot, then you can flex it forward.

i feel the same with my dalbello voodoos. i can barely lean forward and the boots are already on 'soft'
