interesting website, not sure if you guys have seen it yet: shows the cost of the war in iraq (also shows how much per household and per person) and shows what we could have done with the money.

no, becuase regardless of weather the war is on or not, you still pay the same for taxes. when bush decided to go to war, did he say he wanted this much more per house hold? no, you pay a percent of your yearly income, so really, even if they werent at war, non of the money comes back to you.

there have been a couple threads like this, and they usually say you lost 3000 bucks per household, i figured it was another, and typed that before i looked, then i checked. so now i just look like an ass. good stuff.

Interesting i guess...but still not factual, sure thats how much the war cost and sure we COULD have used it to do all that other stuff, But fact of the matter is congress wouldnt have aproved it. It is spent becuase there was a war and will go into the national debt ur taxes wont go up our economy is on the rise so although its a shitload of money not really a factor in the problem with the war in Iraq you should be worried about other aspects.

The number is taken from the lowest war-cost-estimate. The site explains how the number adds up. All that money is BEING spent, so there is no way around it. The money COULD be spent in other more humanitarian ways. You should ad about 40% to calculate interests over 10 years. Its sick!

I hope u feel your intelligence was insulted. They needed to make a ticker to remind you how much it cost. I have read the report on how much it costs and understood it was alot. I didnt needed a website to sit ther and ad it for me

^are you serious. the website is making a point. no, it may not be 100% accurate, but the number there is showing that each minute we are there we are spending more and more money, and that is true. it also shows what you could buy for the amount we have spent on the war. if you couldn't get that, shut up.
