Anyone else bummed out by the superunknowns?

I was pretty underwhelmed by the entrees this year, they all seemed to have super generic and unoriginal style, the exception was jack borelands which i thought was dope

last years were crazy good, about half of them coulda won...i dont know if I saw one that fits the skill and style of level 1...didnt see all of them tho so I guess i cant pass judgement

i think the unknown factor has kind of disappeared, because of the success of a site like newschoolers! like who hasnt seen torvines edits around?
and look at the past winners, when wallisch won i had no idea who he was, that goes for brogan and erikson too
that being said i really enjoyed beniot gendrons edit because everything was stomped

i thought torvinens was the most unoriginal imo. I really like that dane usefer or what ever his name is, his one was sick, but i havent seen any that could go on an urban trip with ahmet and hold there own.

Just because it's not another Tom Wallisch coming up from this contest...doesn't mean you should be "Bummed" out by this years results.

Each entry killed it in one way or another and as stated above^^ the talent of some of these people at the ages they are is incredible. Keep it comin level 1. Every year seems good thus far to me this super unknown.

This. and i'm just hoping there will be an entry like Logan's last year. IMO he has the sickest entry. With killing the BC stuff then getting it done on urban, kid slays it. We defiantly need to see some more riders like him, you know like all around good skiiers. I would be stoked to see a finalist with his kinda style this year.
