Looking for a new computer but I'm not sure if i should go with a high end pc which is the cost for the low end mac, or just go with a mid grade mac. What do you use to do design and video editing? MAC or PC?

Well what programs are you trying to use? That may be more telling than anything.
I prefer my self-built beast over a mac. Way more shit, exactly what I want, far less money. I find Macs to be horrendously overpriced chic items. They work nicely, but you're paying a lot for name and image (AND OMG OSX IS THE BEST EVER)

It sounds like you'd be better off with a Mac.

If you have the money, Macs trump all for media work.

depends how crazy into your computer you are. Ive been told if you just want it to put on programs run said programs and use internet/word and stuff go mac. but if your into programing and building computers and stuff pcs are supposed to be better because you can actually build them.
