Skiing Sand Dunes ? Whos done it

Anyone ever tried it? Ive always wanted to try but havent ever worked up the courage to do it. I wanna do pyrimid point near sleeping bear sand dunes its about 400 vertical feet and pretty steep just curious if anyone has attempted it or wants to try this summer? I saw an episode of traveling circus and it looked a lil sketchy

this. no harder 400 foot hike up; in the state prolly. people get sttranded regularly in the summer

i think the TC crew had to do something to there bases or edges to make it work. And your boots would be full of sand if you did it.

ya ive hiked up it a few times never with skis or a heavy pack on though. i def dont want to have to pay the Coast Gaurd to pull me off... I hear the bill is pretty steep. they used formica (Sp) on TC. Others have said that with a dune this steep speed isnt a problem.

My cousin has done it out in Colorado on some dunes. It is definitely possible, just a little hard to stop and hurts a bit more when you fall.
