hmm so you ns boys must have some kidna feedback. how do you feel when theres a girl in the park thats better than you? how about when she shreds and tries really hard but cant do much in the park? how about if she has so much steeze and cant do anything? are you willing to give girls advice beacuse for some reason when ever im in the park trying new things i get looked over. probably beacuse im already with a group of 6 guys already......gimmmeee someee haha

To the OP, I dont mind girls in the park, actually i would help them if they would ask for advise. at the top of obstacle for example. I just cant stand it if they dont do anything in the park. I mean if they are thugged out and have twintips but dont hit a single feature, this drives me crazy.

I have no problem with girls who shred harder than i do. i honestly don't care all that much to progress, i like to do things super smooth and keep it real simple. never be shy to ask for advice from someone, and like someone said already, if you have a smile on your face who cares :)

girl thats better than me: Cool, girl shreds but is probably ugly (in most cases)

tries hard but sucks: cool, keep trying, we need more girls.

steeze but cant do anything: pretty sure those cancel each other out

advice: yeah, everyone is cool no one is going to get up in your face for asking for help. also stop whoring yourself out to 6 guys

from a girl sporting the latest trends in thuggish ski gear lol: i try my best but to tell you the truth none of the guys at my hill have ever done anything than toss snowballs at me....i can do clean shifty 1's, 3's, various stalls and taps (just wobbly and afraid of long rails lol) and I'm the only girl, it seems that guys have an aversion to me trying? Just my case.

No one has ever denied me help with skiing. Yeah, sure when I first started out with twin tips and fell whenever I hit a feature I was just embarrassing myself, but I never got any hate and I just stuck to it until I finally nailed some tricks. I have found that the best skiers are always willing to offer their time and help.

Whenever I ski park it's pretty much with all dudes. I actually like it though because even though they might all be better than me they always are encouraging me, giving me advice, or forcing me to try new things. For example last weekend I starting doing fronts...something I would never attempt on my own

I ask for help all the time. Being humble is a great quality in the park.

As far as girls with all the steeze and no tricks... This annoys me massively. Use the money you spent on gear you don't need and do some women's camp days or tramp sessions or something. I've got nice outerwear, but I kill it everywhere else on the mountain. I'm still working on the park thing, but I think people realize my persistence when they see me hiking the same feature for 3 hours. People were actually clapping on monday, it was pretty awesome.

but seriously, Skiing with girls is just as fun as skiing with anyone else. I skied with my girlfriend multiple times and had a blast in park and on the hill.

I'm a decent skier but shitty in the park. I just have a good time with it and don't take myself too seriously. I can laugh at myself when I fuck up, which is often. As long as you don't go around telling people how great you are when you actually suck most people don't care that you aren't Tom Wallisch. No one's ever been anything but encouraging to me. I'm always kind of surprised when I hear stories about kids telling other kids to "get out of the park" or whatever, that's never been my experience and I'm far from a good park skier. (Though, if someone did say that to me I'd just laugh in his face. What's he gonna do, punch a girl?)

i have never seen a legit park skier in the park except once at sunshine and she was wearing jiberish but she was park crew so i didnt see her do anything, and if a girl was better than me she would bee prrrooooo

Girls with ridic steeze seem to be flooding our area... and they literally roll through the park following the dudes they are skiing with. This annoys me as well. And I will admit, we will watch and let you roll down first before we go and try something (with Rach of course) to regain the fact that not all girls are wimps.

This is so silly where we ski because most people in the park are just there to have fun and I think I speak for most girls here, skis and boards, that we would totally want a bigger group of girls to shred with.

I'm 23 and I've been riding park for about 10 years, and I'm still not very good. If I see a girl shredding harder than me, it's awesome. There should be more girls out there doing the same thing. It's a huge turn on. If she tries really hard but can't do much in the park, it doesn't matter. Effort is the key. I have more respect for a girl dressed like a gaper hitting rails and eating shit than I do for some little trendwhore in a Saga jacket riding by all the features. If she looks real steezy and she can't do anything BUT SHE'S TRYING, that's cool too. The only annoying thing is people that look the part that don't actually put any effort it. Scenesters are the worst. If a girl asks for advice, whether she's super ugly or super attractive, I'm happy to give it. Same with little kids who are also just learning. There's no point in being a dick if someone's trying.


Sorry for the long post, I just took a shitload of adderall and I'm feeling ambitious.

I love being the only girl in the park trying stuff. If you fall and get looked over ignore that, at least you are trying stuff. And i know that the guys i ride with respect girls who try stuff.

i can do some stuff... 1's, rails, switch runs, still trying to progress.... but the boys where i work (park crew at campgaw) are really NOT encouraging at all .... my old crew (killington) were always pushing me to do things and always wanted me to get better.and id love to find a crew like that again...I dont want guys to think im pushing them away because all i really want is to get better, and i honestly feel like having a guy whos dirty ski with me is one of the best ways to improve. I mean im always smiling and dancing and laughing so its not like i seem unapproachable. and i get hit on alot but noone seems to be willing to help me... must be cuz i ride in jersey, those meanies. so everyone if you see a girl in the park trying to do things, im sure shed love some help.... especially if shes rocking pink nikita pants with a tall T and a newschoolers sticker on her helmet.

and as for u adderall man.... u live it up

I think people Hate a lot on the internet. But they are stoked when they actually see girls pushing it.
Ive travelled a lot and everytime I come back from an area. I always have like 5 friends request on facebook coming from random people that were there and were stoked on me skiing.
Lets not forget that the main idea about this sport is to have fun. :)

If a girl is better than me Im usually stoked, but then again most people are better than me, trying hard is cool because eventually she'll be good, and there are not many good girl park skiers, ton of steez and isnt very good kinda sucks because I am let down. I probably would give advice, but I dont really have that much advice to give

I usually just give advice to people (male or female) if I see that they're struggling with something, especially if they're someone I know already at least somewhat. It doesn't really matter what sex...
