How to find to get into progression

I'm stuck in a rut with skiing it seems like I can't do anything bigger and i'm just stuck with what i do. Anyone else have this/ can help get out of this rut?

Just focus on what you want to accomplish and go after it...You can always work on your style/unnatural direction of spinning or anything you can think of

Try different "flows" of riding, turn your mountain (or hill) into your own personal terrain park, go outside of the park from time to time if theres good terrain, refresh yourself. Hit different stuff and new tricks/ added style may branch out of these different features rather than hitting the same rails/jumps you have all year. I just say this because my home hill's setup is very limited and small.

start skiing with some people/friends that are better then you. i am also way more confident if one of my buddies stands beside the jump, so if i crash he can go block off the jump while i scramble for my shit in the landing.

this. Especially if you're like me and you only get to ski with friends a little bit. I always get really motivated and want to try something new.

That sounds like a good idea, because usually i'm either skiing by myself, or skiing with people that are equal skill.

If you've been doing a lot of jumps ride rails for a while, if you've been doing mostly rails start riding jumps. Maybe try some pipe? Go find a tramp and learn a new trick on it so you can try it on you're skis. Try new grabs with you're spins. Or as said before try changing up your style, I just started adding shifty's into my spins, they are pretty fun.

When I felt like my learning curve started to mellow out I decided to try and touch up on some basic skills I may have overlooked. For example I had already learned to do cork 7's and 9's, but I couldn't do any grabs with any of my spins, and had never hit a jump switch. So for the next few days I worked on those things.

I just ski with friends that are a lot better than me and tell them I'm gonna do something. Then i'm forced to do it or at least try cuz I don't wanna be a pussy in front of them

be friendly.. the best park of riding park is that no matter where you are there are people surrounding you that love the sport also. if you see someone better than you im sure that they'll be willing to help you, if not theres no harm in asking. some of my best friends have evolved from askign for advice, riding lifts and they have been able to push me to get better
