Apple warranty?

so i have a 13" macbook (white one) and the uni body is cracked, everywhere. I have had water damage on the computer but it still works and im wondering if the body is prone to crack this easily

same thing happened to mine. i contacted apple and they pretty much told me that it was considered "ordinary wear and tear" and therefore was not covered.  their "warranties" have fucked me over on 2 ipods and a computer

shit... i find it crazy that you pay 1000 for a laptop to only last you a year.

haha, the white macbooks cant take any abuse. My school board has 30-40 in each school and they are all garbage after a year

Apple has been pretty good to me over the past few years, and my friends have also had pretty good luck with warranties and stuff. I think it really depends on the store employee that you talk to. That being said, it really helps to take it to the actual apple store and be nice to the people and see what they can do for you, rather than just send an e-mail asking if something is covered under warranty.
