I have some pow tonic gloves, they work really well and are super low profile, they get wet, but the neoprene(stuff in wetsuits) keeps you warm

Just bought some Dakine Omegas a couple weeks ago for park skiing.
My Crossfires were too thin, and would get wet easily, plus I lost one.
But I love the Omegas, not the bulky at all, pretty warm, haven't really tried its waterproofing, but as long as you don't picking up snow sludge, you should be fine. Only thing that bothers me is the zipper cuff, but I guess I'm just lazy.
