Agree, horrible movie.  Basically drew out the whole first part of story making it super slow and boring.  Acting and plot was retarded.  Don't remember it exactly but I remember I was so mad when Ron was like all pissed and he's like you guys suck and then he like comes back and was like I'm fine now yall, it was so fucking bland and melodramatic.  Oh and when Harry finds the sword in the pond or whatever, that shit was retarded.  The movie had no plot as in rising action, suspense and resolution (while characters develop/mature, they ddnt) and all adventure movies/stories need that basic structure so much, its the point of them.  But anyway, acting sucked, they made the characters sooo much more mild and less witty than the previous movies (which is what makes the movies).  Even the setting and scenery and whatnot was sooo much less exciting and grandiose.  Like I know it took place in some mountains but cmon, get a little imaginitive.  Compare the inside of the ministry to the first time you saw Hogwarts or the Quidditch World Cup.
