I've never been to a ski camp in the summer before and after researching many different ones and finally getting enough money, I decided to go to their ski camp. For anyone whos been before how did you like it compared to other camps.. and what session should i go for?

Ski situation : More free demos in govy then you can handle.

Money spending: I spend about 60.00-80.00 a week on expensive resort food/ clothing and small things like sunscreen from the shops.

Yup, we do trampoline lessons, you just have to sign up for it as an afternoon activity once you get there.

its the little town at the bottom of the access road to mt hood. it is 5 miles from our campus, we stop there most days, thats where you can demo next years skis, get food and super fun awesome product!

i never actually had one. but i did have at least 2 tacos a day at the taco shop. and then the taco lady was like hey you have been such a loyal taco eater, here have my fish taco and I was like no that's gross

I go for racing so I personally spend a bunch at fuxi (http://store.fuxiracingusa.com/) and speedys (http://skatewerks.com/). The deals are super good, I got a pair of $120.00 level gloves for $45.00.

The freeskier emporium of government camp use to be mountain soul (sold tall tees and all that stuff along with race gear) but they just shut down and im not sure they are coming back for winter, they posted something on their Facebook that made it sound like they were gone for good.


Honestly though, to the best of my memory, in the summer most if not all of the shops are centered around racing. By my count, there are 5 (I think) almost nearly race specific shops, and assuming mountain soul will be back, 1 "normal" shop.

If anyone remembers better though, correct me if im wrong, I wrote this pretty fast.

mhssc sounds dope! i was all bummed out about not being able to go to c.o.c cuz of the cost but now im kinda stoked on this. i was just wondering if there is any wifi at the camp?

yes, there is wifi in the lower lodge, where we eat hangout and do video review and where the younger kids sleep.

Let's not forget camp food. It is rather delicious and plentiful. And chinese night really isn't that bad. It only sucks for C staff because getting baked on rice off of metal serving tubs is a bitch.
