yo guys i have a lot of time on my hands because of a surgery, so i was wondering if you knew any good photograpy website, with like news, techniques, info, whatever.

I like Dan Carr's website a lot.

Download the StumbleUpon toolbar. You can select topics like photoshop/photography/etc. When you click the stumble button it generates random websites based on the topics you selected. Its easy to spend hours on Stumble. There's tons of topics too so you don't have to limit yourself to JUST photos

yes i know stumbleupon but some of the shit you stumble is not necessarily quality website.

A big 'Meh' to Ken Rockwell. Take everything he says with a grain of salt. In fact, he even recommends you do this in the 'About' section of his website: "This website is my way of giving back to our community. It is a work of fiction, entirely the product of my own imagination. This website is my personal opinion. To use words of Ansel Adams on page 193 of his autobiography, this site is my "aggressive personal opinion," and not a "logical presentation of fact." "

yeah, some of the stuff he says is just way out there. although there are some pretty helpful tips and such that helped me become a better photographer.
