What made you smile today?

I've noticed a few really negative threads recently like "what bugs you" and stuff like that.

So, how about what made you happy/smile today? Even tiny little things, even if you've had a shitty day I guarantee there'll be at least one thing.

:)

Today I enjoyed riding my bike home from work listening to Dan Le Sac Vs Scroobius Pip.
And cracking a cool beer from the fridge.

Well, after spending the entire night working on building a model for class, all it took was my 2 roommates getting into an argument about where I was while I was taking a 45 minute nap in my loft. Most rediculous arrangement of people ever.

You know what? I'm in a really fucking good mood right now.

I went to my PO box and there was a $50 gift card to target in there and my california vehicle registration that I had to struggle immensely to get.. (I've been living in colorado for 6 months).

So I go to target, they have Snatch for $4.75. So I bought it. Then I look over at the books and see Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. So I bought it. I'm excited to read it.

But aside from that, I finally got to talk to my co worker today about all the stupid shit I'm annoyed with and damn did it make me feel good.

Then while perusing Malakye, I saw the sweetest job ever. I can't have it cause I don't surf well, but it gave me hope that jobs I'm qualified for exist.

And I talked to my friend who I believe is going to hook me up with a particularly awesome 2 week job in May... In Mammoth.

Then... I was informed to send in an athlete interview into a particular ski magazine to go on the website. So I talked to my friend and I get to do an interview with my friend which makes me way happier. So I can get some extra pocket change.

It's been a good 4 hours.


Really helps me emotionally with the fact that I get laid off in about 20 days.

woke up with no alarm as the sun hit my deck. no alarm because no school/work for over a month. Planned on studying but saw the sun was nice. Opened my fridge and there was bacon, smiled there. Made eggs benny and coffee and enjoyed it on my deck, saw I had bailys so took a bit for the walk to school. my room mate was going to school so I had someone to walk with. as soon as i got to school I NS seshed for about 30 mins and my friend came by asking if I wanted to smoke a joint. I left library, smoked a doobie, and it was too hot to be in jeans, so here i am showering and changinh into shorts, it's just about time for a beer too.

Basically my whole day made me smile, especially because all week has been raining and 12+hours of studying
