well if i got your question right then.... you start off just learning easy crap like bunny hopping and balancing in place and then endo's and stuff like that then you need to start learning to balance on your rear wheel really well so you can do pedal kicks. pedal kicks are pretty much the foundation for all trials riding, its where you are on your rear wheel and you drop you front end a little and with a burt like movement you kick the pedals and jump at the same time which causes you to go up and forward. then once you know those things you just start doing them in all sorts of different ways and on different things
