Well if you mean true center yes, so measured to the tip and tail is the same..

Its not really that bad if its a powder ski..wich it probably is..

I think more in the tips is more stable actually. It's just something for riders and companies to keep in mind when mounting a ski true center...

i cant think of a ski that is center mount, and symmetrical other than tip rocker. is there one you are thinking about specifically?

I kinda see what you are saying now. I don't think I would want rocker only in the tip, it would be a really weird ski.

But even with rocker in the tail, it's usually LESS and so more tail results

Really weird park ski, sure. Move the mount back -9 and give it a huge turn radius and you have a AK ski.

once again, clearing up petes wording for everybody: more tail than recommended mount point=more to support you if you end up backseat. NOT more tail than tip is good.
