Blown away by Line EP Pro!!

Just managed to pick up a sweet used pair of 2011 Ep's this week that in my opinion are basically brand new.  I spent most of the year riding the sir francis bacons, i thought this was the sickest ski, i rode the JJ's, S7s, Bent Chetlers, etc but the bacon seemed to be the most playful of the all mountain powder skis out there!  

But after today, the first day on the EPs i realized that skiiing was about to get even sicker!!!
Cruized a couple groomers first thing, the skis bounce around quite a bit but i dont give a fuck i can still manage to bomb pretty hard. 

Did a considerable side country hike.  These fucking skis are so amazing, i have never experienced the feeling that i had today on skis.  if you have never felt this there is no going back to hitting park jumps or whatever!!  Straight up the ski roles and the flex is just incredable, skiing pillow lines, seriously spending more time in the air then on ground, landing perfectly centered.  all i have to say is fuck hellbents, fuck the opus ski Line is making next year.  This EP pro shit is for real!   plus skied some fresh courderoy afterwards, the skis are on rails making perfect slalom turns!!!    Line all i have to say is fuck trying to make an all mountain ski out of this.

there's a reason EP changed his pro model(s) ski. The EP Pro was so fat and had so much float that it made the giant airs he does actually harder since it wouldn't sink hardly at all. He found it was a lot easier to land a huge huck when you sink in an grab the snow a little better.

They were good on groomers? Hmmmm haha. Guess they were good in the chop too?

Hell ya, marker baron tour binding, and same skins, works out pretty sick!!

Ya the bounce around pretty good in the chop but its not really something that bothers me personally

Actually, as long as you keep them on edge, it's no problem what so ever on groomers. Of course they are no GS skis, and get sketchy once it get's icy, but groomers in general = no problem. And they are still playful for riding switch and buttering around on the groomers..

To the OP. We have the same style of riding and it will always make us happy no matter the haters. I am stoked for you because I know the exact feeling.

And yes for my love of riding EP Pros on the groomers are super fun especially buttering floaters. I agree with trying big drops like Pollard does they would not be the best, but i am not riding the level of terrain Pollard and his crew does. So for me this ski is perfect for 20 to 30 foot cliffs, tree riding, and cornices.

You've ridden the Opus already, and still like these better? What reasons? The Opus sounds like a really sick ski from what I have seen.
