Toggenburg Grand Finale Weekend

So the crowds are dwindling and spring is in the air, it looks like this will be the final weekend for riding at Toggenburg this season. We're planning on going out with a bang with two super fun events. First up, The High Steaks Park Jam will be going down on Saturday. The park jam will be going down the same as years past, with riders winning cash and prizes right on the hill throughout the session. But this year we've added a fun twist, beef and bragging rights. All contestants will get a tube steak (hot dog) with their entry. In addition, one skier and one boarder will be crowned the High Steak Champion, winning bragging rights going into the off-season and a nice juicy steak cooked to their liking. Registration is from 10:00AM-12:30PM and the event will kick off at 1:00PM. Entry is only $10 and lift tickets are available for $15. We'll session for a couple hours and then head to the bottom of the hill for the BBQ. This is a super fun event every year, with plenty of chances to win cash and prizes. The second event going down this weekend is the annul Pond Skim on Sunday. Skiers and boarders will be playing in the water once again this year, with some added incentives. There will be three cash prizes awarded for the best skim, best sink (crash) and the best costume. Entry is only $5 and there will be a pond side BBQ all day. This is quite possibly the most fun event of the season, whether you're skimming or spectating! The weather is looking perfect for both days, so come on out to shred or just to enjoy the sunshine.
