Wants some new glass

Budget: about $350 probably can't go much higher unless it's a great deal! What type of lens: I'm looking for a wide lens (sub 28 mm) Prime/zoom: I want a prime that is quite fast. Full manual/auto: I don't mind using a fully manual lens if there is an older cheaper lens that fits my needs. I shoot with a cannon rebel (500d) Thanks very much.

If you want a really wide lens I'd suggest the samyang 14 2.8 UWA.

Nikon 24 or 28mm AI-S 2.8 or the 20mm 3.5, plus adapter. Whatever length works for you. Watch eBay.

Otherwise, I'm sure you can find some good old m42 stuff out there...
