I may be alone on this one, but I think it would be super sick to see an entire pipe segment, especially if Duncan, Dorey and Riddle were slaying it. I miss insanely sick pipe segs ala Belanger, or even just pipe shots ie. Chricton.

oh i'm all about including pipe shots into the segment like crichtons massive alley-oop flat 5's, or even simon's cat shots last year. but i think a full on pipe segment might be pretty stale.

Yep Dorey was at their Mammoth & Alpine shoots, possibly others. He's so damn fun to watch outside of a comp environment--obviously kills it at comps but it's nice to see him throwing down tricks that he'd rather do for fun than for the podium.

You've gotta switch it up, make a pipe and then put some rails on top, some parts of the wall higher than the others, maybe a wallride or two, some bonks and stalls, and a drop in that starts of with a jump on top of the pipe off to the side that you air off of and transition into the pipe as a hip... That'd be bound to be one of the best segments of any movie, and, in my opinion, would be quite a opposite of stale.

i agree completely. but most (read: not all) pipe skiers these days are focusing on going huge and doing their comp tricks.

i guess if you wanted to see a skate style halfpipe segment, it would prob be populated with more non-pipe skiers.
