Summer setup plan. Help?

I have plans to make a summer setup. My parents don't want me to make it too big, so what is the best way to make a setup without using a lot of water and have it small but still have speed.?
Here's two plans (I know they're the most common) that I could use, which one would give me more speed and works the best in a small area.?

use your second plan, the slats will eliminate surface area which makes you go faster. but make sure that the slats are spaced closer together in the tranny

slats, but make sure u put the slats close on the tranny and jump so ur skis dont go thru

yeah i am but there's only like one design that tells you how to make it and i wouldve put this thread in there but like nobody looks at the threads in there.

Not true.  People do look at the threads in Build-A-Jib.  The thing about Build-A-Jib 101 is that there is very little that hasn't been covered in other threads.  There is pretty much an answer for everything from how to build to whether or not you can use an old refrigerator for a box.  Build-A-Jib 101 is like the Encyclopedia for building your own set up.  The cult is less active in the winter. 

Season must almost be over because 20 people requested invites today.

Alright man yeah i'm kinda new so i figured that since the last post for most of the threads on the first page were 2 weeks ago, that nobody looked at it.
