i've always thought about this, and i've come to the conclusion that it's impossible, at least for me, to only pick 3.

-reasonable doubt
-ready to die
-illmatic
-muddy waters
-the big picture
-36 chambers
-only built 4 cuban lynx
-the slim shady LP

i'm sure there are more that i'm not thinking of at the moment, but 95% of the songs on every one of those albums are, in my opinion, great

Wow top 3, tough choice. I think I will pick top 3 right now and top 3 overall. Right now: Apathy- Wanna Snuggle? Outerspace- Blood and Ashes. Army of the Pharaohs- The Torture Papers. Yeah I have been listening to a lot of AOTP lately, come at me. Top 3 of all time for me dammmnn, I am going to stay away from the obvious picks like Enter the Wu, Illmatic etc and go with: Organized Konfusion- Stress: The Extinction Agenda. AZ- Doe or Die. Ghostface- Supreme Clientele.
