So, I got some shots at Seven Springs yesterday with a Panasonic HDC SD20 Camcorder (small, handheld, AVCHD recorder) and went to import my clips into Vegas Movie Studio. I couldn't find the files on the SD card, but there was a new folder besides DCIM (where the clips should go) and MISC, PRIVATE. Under private, there is a folder, AVCHD. Under AVCHD, there are three more folders, AVCHDTN, BDMV, and IISVPL. Searched all of these and still couldn't find the clips. I can view them on the camera and I can import them into iMovie (on a different computer, but when I pull up the SD card manually, I get these folders. If any more info is needed I will gladly give it and could anyone tell me what is wrong or what I am doing wrong? Oh, and I have tried reformatting the SD card to the camera (an option in the camera's settings). +K for anything helpful!
Under AVCHD there should be a folder called "stream" and they will be in there. At least that's how it is on my camera (a canon so it could be different). But just a heads up if you formatted or reformatted the card in camera you deleted everything on the card
