Looking for a little local insite

Im planning a trip down to whitefish in the start of april, and I wanted to camp for a few nights while im there. Ive been looking online trying to find good spots but it is proving difficult. I was wondering if there was any one that might know a good place to go or a good website to reference. To be clear im looking for less of a actual prebuilt campsite and more of a middle of nowhere type spot.
