Nah. Sorry didn't mean for it to be a claim. I mean I was running like 65ish in high school and now I'm a junior in college so it's realistic. Nothing crazy, some of my friends run 120+ and one kid on my team ran 160 one week for the hell of it. He was out of commission for a month or two after that though haha.

Yes he did actually. He doubled just about every day though, so he'd do 10 or so in the morning and another 10-15 later in the day depending on the day. He started off the week with like a 30 miler straight though haha.

i've eaten fast food probably under 10 times in my life, 5 of those being this year whilst really high. shit's nasty but tastes amazing. but the nastiness trumps the amazingness. besides, a home-grilled organic beef burger is better than a big mac any day

The reason why it is so addictive is because it is full of sugar and salt. Where in the past they were difficult commodities to obtain and which our bodies relied upon and so physically we perceive them as being good for us when we consume them. Now that they are so readily available our genetics have not caught up on this and so large fast food conglomerates capitalize on this opportunity. Thus North America is fucked.

I wouldn't say they don't know any better.

It is like cigarettes: the negatives are well known.

The problem is convenience, apathy, laziness, and (I'm not trying to make people victims here) addiction.

Some fat person can shove their fat kid's mouth with a burger and the kid will love it. That is easy. Try to make a kid get off facebook, eat fruits, and go running... holy fuck you have a basketcase.
