Chips, taco meat, onions, green peppers, diced tomatoes, jalapenos, and a shitload of cheese, topped with salsa or taco sauce.

Must be at least 2ft high, with grilled chicken and a shit tonne of jalapenos...  Red, black and yellow chips add to the overall artisit impression marks....

Examples of good Nacho's - any mountain base, Happy Hour Pub nacho's are always winner....

1. Red Hot Blues tortilla chips.
2. Pepper Jack cheese.
3. Bell Peppers.
4. FRESH (NOT PICKLED) Jalapeños
5. SPARSE use of white onions.
6. Refried beans.
7. Black beans.
8. Chicken, or Al Pastor sauteed with onions and bell peppers.

1. Base layer of chips
2. Mild Cheddar cheese
3. Taco meat
4. Next layer of chips
5. Mild Cheddar cheese w/ Pepperjack cheese and Mexican cheese
6. Fajita meat
7. Lettuce, diced tomato, Jalapeños, option of black bean
8. Your choice of salsa
9. Sour cream on the side for extra dipping options

I love nachos don't judge me.

4 is soooo key i cant stand pickled jalepenos, as long as there is meat hot peppers on-ions lots of cheese and whatever else you can think of its always good nachos.

nice t-shirt bro.

and i usually take a deep casserole dish type of thing, bottom layer of tostitos, then a layer of diced bell peppers, sliced cherry tomatoes, jalapenos, a bit of salsa and diced red onions, nice layer of cheese, then another layer of tostitos, and just keep alternating like that until youve got a big fuckin thing of nachos, extra nice layer of cheese on top. throw that in the oven to melt all the cheese, then when its melted put it on broil for a bit to make the top all golden. fuckin delicious. then i usually make my own guacamole and eat it with that and sour cream.

for the simplest danky nachos all you need is your tortilla chip of choice, cabot extra (or seriously) sharp cheddar, and hot sauce. grate that shit up and drizzle hot sauce all over. no need for salsa.

but I love to make loaded nachos with beef and everything too

Its all about layering. Real nacho's have like 30 separate layers, not a single chip goes without topping. I hate dry chips in my nachos.

with the dry chip at least you can scoop attack for toppings.

now the wet chip, fuck that noise. its is all soaked with bean juice and you have to be really drunk to mow mow on it.

but as i posted before. TATCHOS= own all.
