Gonna try and find a good deal on one of these pairs at the end of the season, I'm 5'11 195 lbs. My dads got the 195 super 7s and I've tried them and liked them (night and day to my scratch BCs), but wanted some opinions before I get a pair because I haven't tried the standard S7s. My dad is 6'1 and 230 lbs, so the 195s are good for him, but would you think I'd be better off with the standard S7 188s? If you've skied them both, let me know what you think. PS: Getting the new 188 super 7 isn't an option, can't afford to buy new.
Reasons I'm thinking super 7:
-Ski heavy west coast Baker snow mostly, and Whistler
-Don't care about switch for these skis (directional is fine)
-I've skied the super 7s at baker and liked them
-Do lots of fast charging in chopped powder/crud
Reasons I'm reluctant:
-Too long a ski for my size + trees?
-Super 7 heavier than the S7
-188 S7 more nimble?
