What do you think about armada arg ? (..09/10, 10/11.....) Write down your opinions and experiences with these skis..thanx ;)

If you weigh less than 160lbs they are the fucking tits in deep snow and trees. Especially trees. If you weigh more than 160lbs they are too short. I had a pair for two years and loved them but flew over the handlebars far too many time on drops because I'd completely bury the tips. They also suck on groomers, pretty much good for only big deep days, but they really excel there (if you're relatively light).

That being said I think there are much better skis on the market. Bentchetlers, Rocker2s, Caylors, Night Trains, they are all better skis. They offer >90% of the deep snow performance and can actually ski the rest of the mountain. Personally I love Cease & Desists. It was developed based on the shortcomings of the ARG and the Igneous FFF and it fucking delivers. I've never skied a better soft snow ski.

the arg destroys in pow... super playful in the trees and can charge open faces/bowls no problem

yes they are a bit tricky on groomers/cat track as you cant put them on edge but rather have to smear the turn, but you shouldn't even find yourself with that problem if you are skiing the ARG as for how it was intended to be rode

i'm 6'5" and about 180 lbs, and i've never had a problem with flipping over the handle bars or whatever...

Yo, I know that a google search of Armada ARG review, would turn up 27,100 results in 0.43 seconds, but fuck it, why not make a thread that will take a couple of days to generate good information so that cobra_commander can write a long run on sentience.
