Replying to Back surgery holding me back?
About a year ago i had back surgery for sculiosis that was over 50 degrees. a year later it still feels kinda wierd but i can do everything normally with just a sore back if i am sitting in a chair wierd for too long. anyways, i generally feel fine skiing, but if i fall wrong even off a 5 footer sometimes it hurts really bad and it puts me out for about a week or 2. i feel if i started throwing bigger tricks i would land them and be okay. but im not sure if i want to try because my back hurts so bad if i fall wrong. i was just wondering if you fall off a 15 foot+ jump on the back side do you feel/use your back much to support you(my back only hurts if i land directly on it or on my tailbone). if i was to fall on the slope sideways do you think it would be the same as falling on my tailbone off a 5 footer? also even if it does hurt should i just go for it or should i keep taking it slow for the next few years or so. im just 50/50 on this and i cant make a decision so i thought id leave it up to you guys, thanks for your help :)
