Calling all NSers!! In need of team members for 24 hour ski race!!!

On April 1st-2nd, there will be a 24 hour ski race at Schweitzer Mountain resort. This race is to help find the cure for cystinosis and a child who has this disease named Hank. For anyone with questions on this disease here is the link: http://www.24hoursforhank.org/

That being said..... I am in need of team members who are able and willing to ski for said time or at least a portion of it. Last year I was able to ski 136(155,000ft vert.) runs in the 24 hour time period and am looking to beat that. There is loads of food, energy drinks, etc... to keep you going throughout

try regionals.

i just did this at my mountain yesterday and it was a fundraiser for the food bank, but it was only during normal operating hours. i got 24 runs in which is 48,000 verticcal feet.

someone help this guy out!

sounds neat but

A) I have no idea where that is

B) I don't race

C) It will be very hard to find people that will want to do this on NS

that sounds like a ton of fun. ill actually be down at schweitzer then but i dont think i could handle doing that. its a long time to ski

we did it first!



just messin. it's a super fun event i only got till like hour 15 or 16 (our group sucked balls i know) but you'll have a great time.

you dont have to ski all of it. just skiing 24 hours alone is sketchy

Do it guys! 24 hour ski/snowboard events are a ton of fun (we've helped two around the PNW so far this year), everyone at 2am is super friendly and having a great time, no matter what the conditions... and you can always go hunt bears if you need some late night motivation. Do it, the reward of seeing dawn break over the ski hill is fucking amazing.
