i was cruising through my local craiglist, and i happened upon a canon rebel xs for 100 dollars with the kit lens. i sent them an email telling them i am interested. is this a deal to jump on? its something i'd be using to at least be able to get some shots till i can get my precious t2i

I have one right now, and I too am saving for a T2i, and it's a nice starter camera for sure. And for $100 that's a steal. It goes for $500 brand new, and if you're looking to do some shooting in the meantime before you're able to purchase a T2i then I'd say definitely go for it.
